By accessing or using the Resumin service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Resumin, Inc. ("Resumin," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Resumin provides an AI-powered document analysis platform that enables users to upload PDF documents and receive automated summaries, insights, and analysis. The Service uses artificial intelligence technology to process and analyze document content.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

4. Credits and Payment

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Document analysis consumes credits based on document length.
  • Credits may be purchased through our payment provider. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or malicious content.
  • Upload documents containing personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service.
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.

6. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to the documents you upload.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • All Service-related intellectual property, including software, algorithms, and branding, remains our property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI-GENERATED ANALYSIS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS AND SHOULD BE VERIFIED INDEPENDENTLY FOR CRITICAL DECISIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resumin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
